What We Do
The Central Interior Native Health Society offers a team of Primary Health Care providers. Primary Health Care means inclusive, accessible and safe health care. It is a more holistic approach and addresses the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical aspects of a person’s wellbeing.
Primary health care is continuous, longitudinal, quality care across the lifespan. We believe this is what leads to a healthier community. With a wide range of expertise; our staff, work together in an integrated way to surround each patient and family with the care they need. Our core service is to build on the strengths of Aboriginal peoples. We offer our services in an environment that Aboriginal people recognize; feel comfortable and feel safe in. Our team of professionals is ready to support clients on all levels.
We have two waiting rooms:
- one for families and children well stocked with books and toys that promote Aboriginal learning
- the other one is for adults
